Siren is proud to release the video for their single “Small Town”, which is filmed by
Director Issac Deitz (Manchester Orchestra, Grouplove, Switchfoot), and captures a special era of life growing up in a Small Town. “I was just tooling around on my acoustic and started reflecting about growing up in my home town of Brandon when I was a boy,” said singer Rob Phillips. “It was a very simple and carefree time which created so many fond memories from that period in my life”
After hearing “Small Town”, Isaac Dietz jumped on board to film the video. “I’m a big fan of memories and nostalgia, and I could tell that ‘Small Town’ was a personal song for Siren,” said Dietz. “I really enjoy being a part of making things for people who are trying to capture a memory or a feeling they’ve had.” “When I was young, I had a camera and would make little videos with my friends. Now as an older man, I look back on those videos and remember my childhood and it felt very aligned with the song while still being personal for me”.
Filming took place in Coral Springs, Florida, as well as parts of Atlanta, including Stone Mountain, which was a main location because of it’s timeless feel. The video magically captured nostalgic scenes of everyday life and growing up in a small town.
